Chromafora has during the spring 2010 filed their patent application that we believe will be a paradigm shift for chemical synthesis, and phosphine based synthesis in particular.

The market for phosphines is large, the yearly market for phosphines as a product is estimated to be a € 600 million market. Also can phosphines be a component in several chemical transformations, such as Wittig and Mitsunobu reaction (and other) and thus vastly increasing phosphines importance and market in chemical production. The Chromafora-process makes it possible to perform reduction of phosphine oxide under very favorable conditions compared to present best practice and patents. The calculated profits for the Chromafora-process compared to best practice today are; 50% waste reduction, less labor intensive and energy saving. Also does the Chromafora-process favor solid state synthesis with all its benefits. Chromafora now intends to perform scale-up studies around its patent pending technique. Learn more...
