The demand for innovative cleantech methods is increasing despite the tough economic times. Swedish cleantech company Chromafora is currently busy with a recruitment investment to satisfy the rapidly growing interest in the company’s cleantech solutions. Among those recruited are Laboratory Manager Linnea Lundqvist and Mats Berggren, Supply Chain Manager.

One of Sweden’s leading clean tech companies Chromafora has quickly gained ground among customers and investors, thanks to its innovative technology and patented methods. Every level of the business was strengthened during the autumn with new employees and additional suppliers. The recruitment investment continues.

– Our treatment and extraction technologies allow us to transfer waste water streams into a resource rather than a burden. This makes people curious about us, not only as a Swedish cleantech supplier but also as an employer. We will continue to strengthen our team’s skills in the beginning of 2023 with several exciting recruitments in the development, product, operation and service departments. It’s very satisfying to welcome new employees to a growing business with a strong market demand,” says Johan Seijmer, Chromafora CEO.

New laboratory managerf
Chromafora has recruited mainly for roles in technology and operations during 2022, but now it’s looking for additional service technicians. Other strengthened areas include purchasing and supply chain, as well as marketing and sales.

Chromafora has a firm foundation in R&D, where the lab plays an important part in the development of new and improved cleantech solutions. The lab is involved in evaluating and selecting customized solutions for each new customer. Thus we recruited Linnea Lundqvist to the new position of Laboratory Manager, with responsibility for day-to-day lab operations. Linnea joins us from Scanacon AB, where she was a development engineer with responsibility for chemical management and the laboratory.

– Everything about Chromafora appealed to me, but especially how our technologies can really help achieve a more sustainable future by detoxifying water from PFAS. As lab manager, I look forward to developing as a person and accompanying Chromafora on the journey toward growth it has set out on,” says Linnea Lundqvist, Laboratory Manager at Chromafora.

New Supply Chain Manager
The objective of Chromafora’s recruitment investment is to ensure supply capacity at a time when demand for clean tech companies is increasing. This means building and supplying new equipment in line with the growing demand and making sure the right suppliers are available to provide the required capacity.

Mats Berggren has been recruited as our new Supply Chain Manager and will play a key part in this work. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, e.g. from IKEA.

– Chromafora is a Swedish cleantech company in its right time. There are exciting opportunities to help structure and assure the quality of the company’s operations. It’s also a really nice place to work. It has an openness and simplicity; everyone enjoys the ability to influence and be heard,” says Mats Berggren, Supply Chain Manager at Chromafora.

Chromafora’s new employees include:

  • Linnea Lundqvist, Laboratory Manager, responsible for day-to-day lab operations and sharing the workload of existing personnel. Linnea joins us from the position of development engineer at Scanacon. She has also been a laboratory engineer at Fresenius Kabi and AstraZeneca. She has a degree in Chemical Engineering from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology).
  • Mats Berggren, Supply Chain Manager, is responsible for purchasing and developing the supply chain. Mats has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, with supply chain consulting assignments for e.g. IKEA. He also served as CEO of SteamexGroup AB.
  • Johan Fahlström, Business Development Manager, is responsible to drive the sales and business development. • Aakash Kanna was recruited as a Process Engineer. He has a degree in industrial technology from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology).

Additional resources and skills will be required as Chromafora scale up and enter into new customer collaborations. Our immediate focus areas are operations and service.
